About Miss Casey
Hello! I am so excited to be teaching here at ILCS. I attended the University of California, Riverside where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked with children in many capacities for the past 8 years. While this is my first year here at ILCS, some of my experiences include teaching All-Day Kindergarten, intervention, tutoring, directing recreational summer camps, as well as coaching gymnastics for several years!
I treat my students as family! My love for teaching started with inspiration from MY first grade teacher (yes, I knew I wanted to teach at age 6). I am living my dream; I absolutely LOVE teaching and I LOVE kids.
When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, kayaking, hiking, shopping at Lakeshore, and scrapbooking :) I look forward to teaching your kiddos and growing together this year!
